Job Title : Finance & Operations Manager
Location : ON, Canada
Job Description : We are seeking a versatile Finance & Operations Manager with a keen understanding of HR functions and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments at the headquarters level. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of progressive experience in finance, operations, and HR management within both start-ups and global organizations. This individual must possess exceptional strategic, analytical, and management skills, with a proven track record of achieving results and driving profitability while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities : - Financial Management: Oversee all finance and accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, billing, and financial reporting. Implement metrics and establish robust controls to manage financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Provide accurate and timely financial reports, analysis, and cash projections to support strategic decision-making by the leadership team. - Operations Management: Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and improve operational performance. Support facilities management, including office expansion projects and vendor management. - HR Oversight and Collaboration: Provide oversight of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Collaborate with HR team in HQ to ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations and provide guidance on HR-related matters. Act as a liaison between finance, operations, and HR departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve organizational goals. - Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the headquarters leadership team to align finance, operations, and HR strategies with overall business objectives. Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with departments such as Customer Service, Finance, and Facilities Management. Support the mentorship and development of finance, operations, and HR teams to foster a culture of excellence and drive employee engagement.
Qualifications: - Fluency in English and Korean is preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or HR certification preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, operations, and HR management, with experience in a leadership role. Proven track record of driving financial growth and profitability, with experience managing budgets and achieving revenue targets. - Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations. - Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. - Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
